handmade treasures for heart and home

MY STORY

I was raised in a large farming community in west Tennessee called Frog Jump. Cotton was our cash crop and children worked the fields along with the adults.   My mother made all our clothes on an old Singer pedal sewing machine. I remember sitting on the floor while she sewed and being given the scraps to make clothes for my one and only doll.  She taught me to sew at an early age and sewing and embroidery are my passions today.  I am very grateful to her for passing down to me her love of sewing, quilting, and all things fabric.
